A plan of the city and harbour of Macao a colony of the Portugueze situated at the southern extremity of the Chinese Empire.

DESCRIPTION: Spectacular plan of Macau or Macao, the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Published in George Staunton's "An Authentic Account of an Embassy from the King of Great Britain to the Emperor of China", a work which documented Britain's first official embassy to China, lead by Lord Macartney, in 1792.
