Named features Include Folly Island, Morris Island, James Island, Sullivan Island, and the Isle of Palms. From the copper plate engraved by J & C Walker.

Later edition of a British Admiralty chart first engraved and published from London in 1869, and updated with correctiosn after that.

Bold dark lithographed print retains the cartographic look and style of the late 19th century. Logo of the British Hydrographical Office at top of the title block. Published from London on April 1, 1869 . Number 2324
