DESCRIPTION: Antique surveyor's plat on thin folding paper of Cottage Lots on Ash Point in West Harpswell, Maine. Ash Point is a peninsula jutting into Casco Bay with Basin Cove to the West and Ash Point Cove to the East. Dated within to September 1899.

Shows a proposed steamboat pier at the end of Ash Point, and the existing boat house and cottage of L. H. Spaulding. Streets shown include Aucocisco Avenue and Ocean Avenue.

Map folded in a brochure 5" x 7" with photographs and text advertising the benefits of living in Harpswell and in particular the joy of owning property on Ash Point.
