DESCRIPTION: SOLD

Original geographical, German map of Baja California in 1868 for the Lower California Company with information taken from the expeditions of J. Ross Browne. In 1866 the Lower California Company purchased the Baja Peninsula from 24 degrees 20' to 31 degrees including both coasts of the peninsula. The company's intent was to colonize and exploit the lands.
