DESCRIPTION: Scarce copy of the Tercentary Map of Barnstable, Massachusetts a pictorial map designed and drawn by James F. Mc Laughlin, Hyannis. Published in 1939. Tables at top left show members of the tercentenary committee (McLaughlin was Chairman) and a list of some of the first Non-Native American settlers in the region.

Contains native American place names such as Skonkonet, Wequaquet, Santuit, and Moskeehtickgut. Includes the seal of the town of Barnstable, Mass and below, two small circular inset maps: "Old England" and "New England."
