Annotated Sales Map of Rolling Hills, Eastfield Drive, California

Rolling Hills. Eastfield Drive. Palos Verde Corporation. Country Life - City Conveniences

DESCRIPTION: Annotated real estate subdivision map of the Eastfield Drive area of Rolling Hills on California's Palos Verdes Peninsula. Issued by the Palos Verdes Corporation under president Kelvin C. Vanderlip, the map promotes "Country Life - City Conveniences," with horseback-rider emblems reinforcing the development's rural, equestrian identity.

The plan identifies numbered parcels with acreage and boundary dimensions along Eastfield Drive, Outrider Road, Chuckwagon Road, Open Brand Road, and adjacent streets. Winding roads serve irregularly shaped lots, many exceeding one acre, with larger holdings of several acres interspersed throughout. An inset location plan places the tract within the surrounding road network.

Extensive manuscript annotations in red, blue, and pencil record apparent asking prices, selected parcels, and sales calculations. Figures include $6,250 beside lot 56 and $8,900 beside lot 113, while another note reads "118 $4,500-clear." These additions suggest use as a working sales or property-selection map, preserving evidence of land marketing during the peninsula's development.
