This was the first plan for Palm Beach and it was not until 1970 that the town adopted a revised plan. The plan was approved by the Palm Beach town council on December 19, 1929 as a guide for future public improvements in light of the rapid growth the area was then experiencing. The original drawings contained in the book were hung in the Palm Beach Town Hall.

"One attractive and well managed public bath and beach, the concentration of general traffic upon a limited number of streets, beautification without especial reference to main arteries of travel and a system of leisurely and convenient by-ways free from automobiles, punctuated by gardens: this is a plan which will localize recreation-seeking crowds, discourage trespassing, and provide safety and quiet for residents of Palm Beach."

Rare. The only copy we could locate is in the Palm Beach Town Hall. Not in WorldCat. Contains more than one dozen illustrations plus aerial photographs and photographic vignettes. Twenty-six pages.
