Designed, printed, and copyrighted 1985 by Dale A. Glanz d.b.a. Daleʾs Ink. Detailed countour intervals of one fathom (six feet). No copies in AMPR or online; limited institutional holding.

From 1978 to 2005 Dale Glanz is reported to have been employed by Kelco (now ISP Alginates) as Operations Manager/Senior Marine Biologist. Kelco began near San Diego in the late 1920s, harvesting brown seaweed, or kelp, and extracting the algin that is used in countless pharmaceutical, household and food products.

Landmarks include a "copper roof mansion", the La Jolla Shores Lifeguard Station, the Summer House Inn, Seville Condominium, Sea World Tower, and Islandia House. Beaches shown include Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Casa Beach, Windandsea Beach. Other noted features include Seal Rock, The Cove, Kellogg Park, Whale View Point, La Jolla Hermosa Park, and the Crystal Pier.
